Nile Thimphu Boutique Hotel, Bhutan

Inspired by the scenic beauty of Bhutan, the hotel is a celebration of the vibrant monastic culture. The arrival lobby is designed as a warm welcoming intimate “library” with a soaring fireplace, surrounded by a salvaged temple feature wall, complemented by hand carved rustic furniture inspired by yak herders and Asian mountain lodges. The tall restaurant is inspired by the serenity of monasteries, with added layers of warm wood and jade tile accents.

The banquet hall is inspired by dragon dances; the guestrooms are spacious sancturaries, layered with art and accessories featuring Bhutanese culture and craft.
